Post-Surgery After Care
Wear protective eye wear
Use the eye shield provided, especially while sleeping, to avoid accidental touching or rubbing
Avoid water exposure
Keep water, soap, or shampoo out of your eye for at least a week to prevent irritation or infection.
Use prescribed medications
Apply eye drops as directed to prevent infection, reduce inflammation, and promote healing.
Limit physical activity
Avoid heavy lifting, bending over, or strenuous exercises for at least a week to reduce eye strain
Protect from bright lights
Wear sunglasses when outdoors to protect your eyes from harsh sunlight and UV rays.
Watch for unusual symptoms
Contact your doctor if you experience increased redness, severe pain, blurred vision, or flashes of light
