What is the purpose of a review/follow-up consultation? 1. Monitor progress to measure improvements in vision and effectiveness of prescribed treatments/medications. 2. Conduct a Visual Acuity Test to assess changes in visual clarity and eye pressure. Measurement to ensure there are no problems, such as glaucoma. 3. Diagnostic imaging and testing may be required to monitor the advancement of eye conditions such as cataracts or retinal abnormalities. 4. Provide post-surgical care to ensure adequate healing and recovery from treatments such as cataract surgery, LASIK, or lens replacement. Address any concerns or side effects. 5. Evaluate existing treatment plan effectiveness (medications, lenses, or surgeries) and modify prescriptions or prescribe additional care as needed. 6. Develop a personalised care plan to outline next stages in treatment or recovery, as well as tips for maintaining eye health and preventing recurrence disorders. 7. Address concerns regarding progress, symptoms, and lifestyle advice. Provide clear directions for monitoring and scheduling future appointments.
